Election 2008 – Day 4 (or is it 5?)

News flash for Jack: CO2 is plant food. It is good for the environment
Layton, once again followed in Harper’s footsteps by visiting cities where Harper had just been the day before. He criticized Harper and Dion’s environmental plans, saying they would not clean up the air, while offering his own “Cap and Trade” scheme, which, of course, will not clean up the air either, becauseĀ 1) a trade scheme will just move the emissions from one company to another, and 2) Carbon Dioxide is NOT A POLLUTANT.
Dion vowed, when elected. he would ban all “military assault weapons” and “take them off our streets”. Someone ought to tell him there are no military assault weapons on our streets because they are banned outside the military. They’ve been banned since, like, forever. Day 4 and still no points for Dion.
Once again, the Conservatives’ campaign got overshadowed by stupidity. An aide has been suspended for making insensitive remarks about the father of a fallen soldier who criticized Harper’s fixed withdrawal date for the Afghan mission. Harper dealt with it swiftly and justly. However, these mistakes have got to stop! I know we’re still in the early days here, but geez, can we get some focus on policy?
Liz White, of the Animal Alliance Environment Voters Party, yes, that one, said May’s inclusion in the debate is great news for the fringe parties. She said all of her 72 supporters would like to see her up on the debate podium as well. And why stop there? Let’s invite all party leaders, including a dozen or so independents. Let’s see if we can have a debate with 30 something people up there.
I am happy Hypocrisy 1 is up and flying, so Dion can leave the province. It was starting to feel like house arrest. Like he was being punished by the other leaders. Yay, five days in and the Liberal campaign is off!

I received a flyer from Peggy Nash of the NDP and her new assertion for the NDP doctrine is that CO2 is a Pollutant that we must get serious about to stop any more production.
When the “Global Warming” scam fizzed out it became the new “Climate Change” and now Al Gore’s movie is like a bad odor that gets little interest by the mainstream yahoos .
Automobiles have gotten so clean we now see the pro-Union NDP give up on the endless rants about re-tooling the Plants for smaller cars that pollute less , so now the NDP broke away from the CAW and have hi-jacked this new “GREEN” movement that really Exalts the Earth above Human life.
Last night I watched a Liberal and NDP M.P. go at each other with vague allegations which actually lead to the “Mike Harris” fallback position to explain why crime is up.
The Liberal and NDP M.P. also assumed that poverty=crime and there are no poor people with morals and values.
No wonder the general public are fed up with being painted as slack-jawed idiots that embrace drugs and crime as a lifstyle and have caused most of the crimes in Toronto and Canada. What about the Liberal criminals that robbed us of over $140 Million dollars of After-Taxed taxes we work so hard to pay.
Chretien and Martin used the Sgt. Schultz defense that they were to blind and stupid to be held responsible for the missing $Millions , plus Dion has little interest in weeding out the criminals from the AdScam issue and Dion was there for it and also oversaw the Kyoto promise .
The more the U.S. Democrates label Republican voters as idiots , the more the average Democrate voter gets insulted by the inference from their leaders by painting lower-icome Citizens as idiots , the more they will see the arrogant elite who are just as filthy rich as the people they calim to detest.

Ah, The Kyoto protocol. Conceived my Mr. Maurice Strong, a good friend of… tada… Jean Chretien. A Kyoto protocol that sees over $40B go to China yearly in carbon credit money. China is where Mr. Maurice Strong currently spends most of his time, along with, you guessed it, Jean Chretien. Both of them were wise enough to heavily invest in Chinese companies just before the Kyoto influx created a boost for the economy, instantly making investers filthy rich. It could almost be construed as insider trading…
