The Hyenas are out. Losers by trait, they have to scavenge for the spoils. They will never kill for themselves, they have to get to where they want via the back door.

We all know why Dion and Layton want this coalition: Dion needs to save face and he doesn’t want to be the only Liberal leader who didn’t become Prime Minister. Layton is just power hungry, and damn this county, his master intellect requires that he’s going to be in cabinet. And strangely, we haven’t heard peep from our Little Miss Sunshine, Elizabeth May. I am wondering if she is arranging her affairs to get ready for her senate appointment…

But what about Gilles Duceppe?

You can rest assured that Gilles didn’t do this for nothing. How much of our country are Dion and Layton willing to give away to Quebec? Do the Canadian people really want the Bloc to be the deciding factor on every budget, fiscal update and law decision made for the next 30 months?

Before all this goes through, the Canadian people have a right to know what has been promised to the Bloc, exactly how much money will be going to Quebec, and exactly how much power Gilles Duceppe will be holding.

Afterthought: after this Coalition of the Losers grabs power, what’s to stop the Conservatives from teaming up with the Bloc and do the same thing again? Maybe we can promise them a bit more than the Libs and Dippers.
