A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It’s a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it’s because it’s proven.

agwOnce and for all, I want to see some proof. I want to see some proof that Anthropogenic Global Warming is here and that it is an undisputable scientific fact. There are millions upon millions of people out there that truly believe it is happening and yet I have not seen one shred of evidence supporting the AGW hypothesis.

So I am issuing this challenge: send me your proof. Convince this ol’ sceptic that Global Warming is real and that it is caused by human activity. Send me your charts, measurements or historic data. Send me data that has not been altered or adjusted in any way. Send me ocean-level measurements, send me ice thickness measurements and solar activity charts. Send me anything you want that, in your view, supports AGW.

I am asking you to convince me!

I am hereby opening a new email address: agw@erwingerrits.com to send me your files. Please place a comment on this post to offer me your proof.

I am serious folks: send me your proof.

Please forward this URL or email address to anyone who you think can contribute to this discussion.

Everyone who still believes in global warming, please raise your hands?
Now everyone who believes the global warming theory is a scam on the level of the pyramid scheme perpetrated by the big financial institutions, please raise your hands?
In reply to the first question only those who had to move their lips to read the question responded by raising their hands.
In response to the second question, all those who didn’t raise their hands in reply to the first question, did so in reply to the second question.
This farcical panic mongering is losing traction on a daily basis and the more the proponents of this goofy idea try to twist the facts to meet their bone-headed agenda, the more ridiculous they look.
I would suggest that by winter’s end the only people who still fall for this nonsense are the people who still believe in the tooth fairy.

If all these Professors who are true Believers were just told that their pensions are tied tot he accuracy of their climate futures prediction, it would be over in a flash.

Right now the more they scream, the more hysteria they create the more money is shoveled into their research machine, the more trips to conferences in Bali are approved and the more TV & radio time they get as Greenie Heroes.

As long as they are incentivized to create hysteria, the more hysteria they will create.

Here is some common sence proof that it is NOT happening:

Show me anyone who can consistantly forcast the daily high and low temperature within 0.5 degrees 7 days out and I will accept that a computer model can forcast the average temperature of the entire earth 50 years from now. I will also take a blind eye to the thousands of variables that are either ignored or assumed and/or estimated to make the model function.

I will also be running for the hills because the very scary quantity of 2 trillion tons if land ice is equal to approximatly 5 mm of sea level rise which is probably less than the statistical error inheirent in actually measuring sea level.

I know I am just in denial and that once all the little Suzukis out there start posting the proof I will see the light.

It may seem in Canada to be losing steam, but I am affraid come January, when Obama comes in with Gore and Chu front and centre, GW will be back on the menu.

Forget the future, when applied to the past, their computer models can’t even predict the weather we now know followed!

Fred, you’re right. Ten years ago you couldn’t get a grant for studying the reproductive habits of the red squirrel. Now the study is called “The Effects of Global Warming on Reproductive Habits of the Red Squirrel” and cash is thrown at you. No wonder so many studies are popping up linking (whatever) to Global Warming. It’s where the money is.

Sorry I have no proof of AGW,however if you want to begin a movement to educate people to the possibilty of global cooling then I can provide some links.
Those who are anti religion sure seem eager to embrace a new faith, call it AGW a boom the room is filled with zealots.
Mean time I hope I have cut enough hay and wood for this climate change season we once called winter in Canada.

Hey, that sounds like a good idea, please send me those Global Cooling links.

I had 15 cords ready for this winter… I hope it’s enough…

I have had enough with all of this, really. Some very good points have been made here, and one I had never thought of. If the so called scientific climate models can’t even present the correct data on past weather, how can it be trusted to predict the future? That is just stupid, plain and simple.

Also, if 2 trillion tons of land ice fall into the oceans, would it not cool off the water (like dropping an ice cube into a glass of water) and resulting in a shrinking of the total volume of water, making the water level go down?

Proof? You mean verifiable facts? Unfair, I say!

Well, it is apparently hard to come by, since I haven’t received any yet!

13 Erwin

That’s why I do not understand why hundreds of millions of people believe in this stuff.

I’ve borrowed your Challenge logo to make an easy link from cruelbutfair- I can’t wait to see the “challengers”!

Yesterday was the seventh day that southern Manitoba had a daytime high lower than 20 below. Some days weren’t much warmer than -28. With the wind factored in we were seeing values below -40. This comes after a summer that was cooler than normal. Global Warming? Bring it on, I could use a little. But I guess I am wrong. It is no longer global warming but rather climate change. These freezing temperatures can be blamed on our co2 emissions. Or perhaps climate changes because that is what climates do. What a novel idea!

Thanks! Unfortunately, nary a proof has been sent… I guess there’s none to be found…
