UPDATE:
School district superintendent Zoe Watson decided Sunday to reinstate the singing. Kudos to all of you who wrote, called and emailed. The decision was made after “communication she received was clear people want the national anthem reinstated”.

Diversity??
I’ve driving through the place about 300 times and the only diversity is the menu at Macready’s and the Bethel Pentecostal complex.

Lemon, I don’t know the place, but even if there was diversity, what does that have to do with the singing of National Anthem? Aren’t we all in Canada (Belleisle included)? No, what it is, is a double standard: it takes ONE complaint from the left, and it takes about 1 MILLION from the right to change things.

Their defense for not singing the anthem is diversity, for which, in Belleisle, there is absolutely none – non-Anglo Saxon population of ZERO.
I think they just got a self-loathing do-gooding principal.

Iam from Belleisle About O Canada in school . There was no asking no meetings with prinipal school board no home and school . All there was fingers pointed find the closest tree . we lost 2 great teachers sad things happen in O Canada .end
