The Pen is Mightier…

My favourite <insert expletive here> Lizzy May was interviewed by Kate Heartfield of the Ottawa Citizen this morning. Of course, she was peddling her new book, Global Warming By For Dummies, co-written by a student (!). In between the own horn tooting, she mentions this little tidbit:

I’ve already gotten in trouble for suggesting giving a copy of the book to Stephen Harper! Conservative bloggers thought this was an insult.

And there you go. Once again, we made a difference!

So where’s this “climate crisis” everyone keeps talking about?

“gotten in trouble” ??? #@&$ =P

I do hope Ms. May’s use of grammar is better in her book than it is in her interview with the charming and insightful Kate Heartfield.

As a small point of interest, I see that Ms. May’s book stands at number 40,381 on Amazon’s besteller list.

Her book should be titled “Global Warming Is for Dummies”

Or in her case, obnoxious, stupid people.

Instead of writing a book on bogus science, she should have spent some valuable time campaigning as a MP and Green Party Leader. Sorry, the woman is delusional – she actually thought she had a chance to defeat Peter McKay. Why would you pay money to buy her book – she’s barking up the wrong global warming tree. She should go to Australia – they are experiencing extreme heat and could use her expertise.

The last thing Australia needs is more hot air. Honestly, I don’t think we should allow this national embarrassment out of the country again. We should hide her and pretend she never existed.

Ugh, no wonder she needed a student to “co-write” it for her: she probably dictated, and the student fixed up her grammar.
